Every reasonable safety precaution will be taken. In the rare case of injury or other emergency, every possible attempt will be made to contact the parents or guardians after immediate action is taken to mitigate the injury/emergency.

Student Conduct Covenant

By signing this form, I agree to abide by the following Summer Camp guidelines.

1.  I understand camp is meant to be an intentional time for me and everyone at camp to seek to grow biblically, along with build lasting friendships and memories with my peers at GCC. I agree to attend all camp sessions and not cause disruption during those times or other planned activities during camp. This includes leaving sessions and planned activities for reasons other than to use the restroom, and any other behavior inconsistent with the activities and occasional instructions at camp.
2.   Respect the health of my body and be careful to not make others stumble by refraining from using, bringing, buying or otherwise acquiring tobacco, alcohol, drugs, or any harmful or illegal substance. This also includes controlling the amount of sugar I choose to eat during camp and taking care to sleep and rest when needed.
3.  Respect the physical and emotional well-being of others by honoring their need for sleep at night, refraining from harmful jokes and sarcasm, etc. I agree to seek to encourage others while at camp, even if it means doing something I don’t want to do at the moment.
4. Respect all camp property, as well as all vehicles used for transportation to and from camp.
5.  Be responsible for my own behavior and participate fully in all scheduled activities at camp, abiding by the rules and instruction of youth leaders and camp staff.
6. Understand that the student ministry leaders are here for my protection and well-being and will show them respect by doing what they say with a. good attitude.
7.  Respect the privacy of the opposite sex and seek to be above reproach by not entering opposite bathrooms, dorms, etc, or any other areas that are off limits, inappropriate joking, etc.
8. Help ensure safety for me and others by not bringing weapons, explosives, or fireworks of any kind.
9.  Maintain a positive attitude and be thoughtful and friendly to others during camp.  I understand the need to encourage others and will honor this by not swearing, fighting or arguing.
10.  Refrain from the use of electronics, including but not limited to, cell phones, music players, video games, tablets, e-books, etc.

Event Rules

1. NO PURPLE – If boys are blue and girls are red…NO PURPLE!  No snuggling or cuddling.  Handshakes, high fives and fist bumps are acceptable.
2. DRESS APPROPRIATELY – modest swimsuits: no two pieces, short tanks or speedos
3. WEAR SUNSCREEN
4. IF YOU HAVE ANY SORT OF PROBLEM – Talk to a leader…we are here to help.
5.  THE SCHEDULE IS NOT OPTIONAL – You must go where the group is going at all times.

Scholarship Guidelines
Individual students requiring assistance are eligible for a scholarship.

  • Scholarship amount is $75 off camp fee, bringing the total camp cost to $175. Should you need further assistance, email Matt Forbes at mforbes@gospelchattanooga.org
  • Summer Camp registration form must be completed and turned in with Scholarship Application
  •  A $30 deposit must be received with Scholarship Application
Deposits are NOT refundable
